Sameday has reached a new operational milestone, achieving a daily processing capacity of one million parcels, as it ramps up logistics capabilities ahead of what is expected to be a record Black Friday season.
The company now operates through three major hubs, in Bucharest, Sibiu, and Brașov, supported by an expanded and modernized logistics network nationwide. In recent months, Sameday has opened five new logistics centers and a specialized facility for oversized parcels near its main hub in Rudeni, Ilfov County.
Easybox network grows fast
Sameday’s easybox locker network has grown by more than 20% in 2025, now totaling over 5,800 active units across more than 800 localities in Romania. On average, there is one Sameday locker for every 3,500 residents, and the average walking distance to a locker is six minutes nationwide, just four minutes in Bucharest.
The lockers are a product of a complex international supply chain: structures are made in Ukraine and Austria, technology is sourced from China and Japan, while assembly takes place locally at the company’s easybox factory in Romania.
